Carol has an extensive background in the philanthropy sector, with expertise in coalition building, grassroots organizing, and program expansion. She has held leadership roles at several organizations, including Shelter from the Storm Animal Rescue and Animal Friends. Highlights of her career include:

• Successfully expanding a spay/neuter program to deliver over 10,000 annual surgeries, including mobile services reaching underserved communities.
• Managing multidisciplinary teams of veterinary, administrative, and law enforcement professionals.
• Designing and implementing community-based programs to improve access to essential veterinary care.
• Securing funding through grant writing and donor engagement to sustain critical nonprofit initiatives.
